Initial Guidance – OKR I
Information
This course contains one 45-question multiple-choice assessment designed to help you strengthen your understanding of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) as taught in the Sense & Respond Learning Objectives and Key Results class.
The assessment is one hour long and must be completed in a single sitting. Please note that this assessment and its questions are not created or endorsed by Sense & Respond Learning, and should be used purely as a supporting tool to deepen your learning and readiness.
About the Assessment
The assessment consists of 45 representative questions based on key ideas, practical patterns, and real-world applications of OKRs. Questions include multiple-choice, multi-select, and true or false types. You will have 60 minutes to complete the assessment, which will auto-submit once the time limit is reached. You can retake the assessment as many times as you like to reinforce your understanding.
When you finish, you will receive immediate feedback on your score and how you compare to the average scores of other test takers.
Tips
1. Attend the official Sense & Respond Learning “Objectives and Key Results” class.
This accredited class provides the structure, context, and shared language needed to create meaningful OKRs and apply them effectively in your organisation. You can find more information here.
2. Revisit your course materials.
Reflect on the difference between outcomes and outputs, the role of measurable Key Results, and how OKRs encourage alignment, learning, and evidence-based progress.
3. Practise writing OKRs.
Draft Objectives and Key Results for real or hypothetical examples. Focus on clarity, alignment to purpose, and measurable change rather than activity.
4. Explore case studies.
Look at how organisations use OKRs to connect strategy and execution. Consider what worked well and what could have been improved.
5. Collaborate.
Form a study group or discussion circle. Share and review each other’s OKRs, discuss what makes them strong, and identify common pitfalls.
6. Reflect on mindset.
OKRs are not just a measurement system. They are a framework for learning and focus. Pay attention to how curiosity, openness, and iteration support effective goal-setting.
7. Do not over-prepare.
OKRs thrive on evidence and adaptation. If you feel confident with the principles and ready to apply them, take the assessment. You might do better than you expect.
